TI-30XSSTYLE CALCULATOR

A scientific calculator, ready in your browser

Work through fractions, powers, trigonometry and everyday calculations with this free TI-30XS-style calculator. Use the on-screen keys or type directly into the display. Your latest expression and answer stay visible, and the up arrow lets you reuse earlier calculations.

Use Copy answer to copy your latest result, or Download history to save your calculations as a text file. No installation or account is needed. Calculations run in your browser. The green labels show the functions available after pressing 2nd.

What you can calculate

Fractions and decimals

Enter a fraction or mixed number, calculate with it, and switch the answer between a decimal and a short fraction using ◀▶.

Scientific functions

Use powers, roots, logarithms, sine, cosine and tangent. Choose degrees, radians or gradians in mode before calculating angles.

Your own statistics

Enter your X values to find the mean, median and standard deviation. Add a Y list for linear regression and correlation.

Function tables

Enter an expression in x, choose a starting value and step, and generate up to 50 rows. No graphing or external service is required.

How to use this calculator

  1. Enter an expression. Click the number and operation keys, or click the display and type. Press enter to see the answer.
  2. Choose your angle mode. Press mode, then select DEG, RAD or GRAD. The active mode appears above the display.
  3. Use a green function. Press 2nd, then the key beneath the function you want. For example, 2nd → x² inserts a square root.
  4. Enter fractions. Press n/d to open the fraction editor below the keypad. Use 2nd → n/d for a mixed number.
  5. Store a result. Enter a value, press sto→ and choose a variable. Use the variable key or 2nd → sto→ to insert a stored variable.
  6. Open a table or list. Press table or data. Complete the form below the keypad and select Generate or Calculate.
  7. Clear the display. Press clear to remove the expression and calculation history. Stored variables remain until you clear them or use 2nd → 0 → Reset.

Menus support the arrow keys and enter. Press 2nd → mode to leave a menu. On a keyboard, Escape clears the display.

For a table, try x^2-4 with start -2 and step 1. The first five outputs are 0, −3, −4, −3 and 0. For statistics, enter X values 2,4,6: the mean is 4 and the sample standard deviation is 2.

Useful keys at a glance

Probability: prb

Choose permutations, combinations, factorials or random numbers. Functions with two arguments use a comma; press 2nd → decimal point to enter one.

Display and editing

Use the zoom buttons to resize the calculator. Delete removes a character, the left and right arrows move the cursor, and 2nd → delete switches overwrite mode.

Repeat an operation

Use 2nd → ÷ to set K, such as +2. After calculating an answer, each further enter applies the operation again. Clear K by submitting an empty operation.

Scientific notation

The ×10ⁿ key inserts a power of ten. Mode offers normal, scientific or engineering output, with floating or fixed decimal places.

Frequently asked questions

Is this the official Texas Instruments calculator?

No. This is an independent scientific calculator made by Digital Rank Studio. It uses an original calculation engine and a familiar TI-30XS-style keypad. It does not run Texas Instruments firmware.

Does every function work exactly like a physical TI-30XS?

No. This version supports the functions described on this page, but its fraction editor, menus, rounding and display behavior differ from the physical device. Expressions use a linear input format; it does not reproduce the complete MathPrint system or symbolic exact-answer display.

Why is my trigonometric answer different?

Check the angle mode shown on the screen. For sin(30) = 0.5 choose DEG. For sin(pi/6) = 0.5 choose RAD. Parentheses and negative signs can also change the meaning of an expression.

Will my work remain after a refresh?

No. This calculator keeps history, variables and lists in memory while this page stays open. Copy any important results before refreshing or leaving the page.

Can I use it on my phone?

Yes. Tap the on-screen keys and use the plus or minus controls to change the calculator size. Forms for fractions, tables and data open beneath the keypad.

Can I use it during an exam?

Check your school or exam provider's current rules. Permission to use a physical calculator does not automatically cover an online calculator.
